What the community has to say about IQA and it's students!
"As parents we are always striving to have the best for our children. And as Muslims, we know that if we equip our children with the tools necessary to succeed in the Aakhirah, then we have been successful as parents. IQA gave us an opportunity to provide these tools to our children. Ranging from Hifz, to Tarbiyah, to Ikhlaq, IQA has given my children an academic and social atmosphere where they thrive as competitive students and gracious Muslims. The affection between the teachers, the focus on learning in a Islamic perspective, and the role models that my children see every day, have all combined to create a healthy and spiritual learning environment. Alhumdullilah, as Muslim parents we could not have asked for a better school."
Dr. Shazia Ali is a Professor of English at the Dallas County Community Colleges and holds a doctorate in Humanities/English from The University of Texas at Dallas. She has 2 children enrolled in IQA in Grades 6 and 4 respectively. And has a 3-year-old at home who promises to be a future IQA student as well.
"When I was in college many things happened that changed my life. Two of the most significant, I think, were my learning the dua, 'Rabbi zidni 'ilma wal hiqni bis sauliheen' and my new desire to have at least one of my children do hifz. I think my dua is what brought me to Imam Yusuf's masjid where not only do I feel surrounded by my faith, but thanks to Imam Yusuf's vision, I have been given the opportunity to fufill my other desire, Insha Allah, of having my children become American Muslim Scholars at IQA. Having grown up in the US, and having been to many masajid, I can say without a doubt, that the atmosphere of diversity, scholarship, and love of the Qur'an that has been nurtured at IANT and IQA is a unique one. We all have truly been blessed to be able to have our children grow in this environment. I pray that Allah keep Imam Yusuf, the other founders of IQA, it's students and staff in His Hifz-o-Amaan."
