Admission Information

General Overview

The overall admissions process takes between four and six weeks. The admission process includes the completion of an admissions application, admissions test, and recommended observation process.

Application

Interested candidates may retain a copy of the the application form from the main IQA office or download the complete package below. The application is only complete once all the required documents and completed form have been submitted to the office along with the application fee.

Admission Tests

All applicants must take and pass the admission test prior to being enrolled. IQA administers these tests in order to determine the applicant's capacity for learning as well as to detect any ESL or learning impairments. Due to staffing constraints, IQA does not enroll any student recommended for special education or ESL. These tests assess the student's cognitive skills in the following areas:

  • PTCS (K-1): spatial, memory, concepts, and verbal
  • TCS/2 (2-10): sequence, analogies, memory, and verbal reasoning.

Observation

The observation process is a recommended round based on various components used to fulfill the admissions process. The recommendation will come from the admissions team based on their review of information provided by the student and the admissions test. All kindergarten students will go through an observation process as a standard protocol.
